Only Moderators Forum !!

Nobody else is welcome !! I'm wiping off the forum.
Yalla, this will help me having more control to make that place like a Utopia where everyone is behaving and happy :D
I can't stay alive all the day watching guests so I came up with a smart-dumb idea to blindly ban every IP I know it belongs to a non-moderator.
But what I can't figure out is why links I post (with the clowns helping me) are getting nuked quickly?? I even checked out my old threads and they were either dead or nuked... I'm tired.. akhkhkhkh!!

I Admit I'm An Idiot !!

I'm no smart. For 3 months I was threatening like a bitch but I couldn't do anything even though there was no fair play . I had full power but because my stupidity I made the place nastier and nastier. Now someone who knows what to do suggested to close all means to reach my forum except for the morons they are hanging. Game Over guys... oops I said it many times before so bear with me who knows.
Yallah, sincerly I beg you to leave me alone because you know how miserable is my life ...oops I don't have one yet, so please please this is the only thing I do so don't put an end to it.

The World Is Banned !! Wow !!

Well as I spend all the time counting IPs of guests and members to know them by heart, I suggested to Admin to ban some of them. But what I didn't realize is that banning IPs will have a serious impact on the number of visitors willing to reach the forum. Now, a great part of the world is banned because none of the translation tools are allowed to access the forum. Mainly, google translation utility and Altavista's one.
Yalla who cares, it's becoming rather a blog than a forum.

My Next Enemy is Yesterday's Ally

It's funny how HOUDA-K and Voltaire are in the same boat now. Remember she was looking to him as the most dangerous member of the forum because of his crazy ideas he is defending and spreading in vain.
Yalla, it's all good to me as it keeps the crappy place I'm moderating alive.

What can you do about insomnia?

Usually it's a sequel of mental sickness I'm suffering from. But what I can do to cure it?:

Change Your Lifestyle

If you are having difficulty sleeping and are serious about solving the problem you will have to change some aspects of your lifestyle. For a start you will need to cut out or cut down on all stimulants. These include: coffee and tea, alcohol, nicotine, cola drinks, food additives, 'junk food', slimming pills or appetite suppressants.

Here are a number of other suggestions

* exercise regularly
* stay up until a reasonable bedtime even if you feel sleepy earlier
* go to bed only when you are feeling really tired and sleepy
* if you can't sleep, get up and only go back to bed when you're really sleepy again
* establish a routine that gives you 7-8 hours sleep (though individual needs do vary)
* get up at the same time each day
* if you're a late sleeper, force yourself to get up earlier
* relax mentally and physically for an hour before bedtime
* have a warm bath, do some yoga or take a light walk before turning in
* make a list of the things on your mind then forget about them
* do a security check - but only once!
* replace negative thoughts with positive ones e.g. "I can sleep/get back to sleep"

Some things to avoid:

* taking stimulants to keep you awake, or sedatives or alcohol to help you sleep
* sleeping during the day no matter how tired you are
* going to bed when you're stressed, wound up or not ready
* having arguments at bedtime or in bed
* using your bed for working, watching TV, eating, telephoning - i.e. waking activities
* lying in bed awake for more than 30 minutes
* eating, drinking or smoking when you get up during the night
* falling asleep in front of the TV
* drinking too much towards the end of the evening
* worrying yourself into not sleeping
* getting angry with yourself or the world if you can't sleep - it only makes it worse!

Guests Gosts !!

What some does'nt know is that the counter in charge to show you how many member is connected online and how many guests are reading the forum.. is brocken.
The admin has hacked the counter to make the forum looks more "sexy" with visitors, as witnessed an agent anti-piracy from Jelself(the company making the script that most forums are running called VBulletin).
So if you are connected and you feel that guests are watching you, then dont worry because they are just gosts of members that were browsing the forum before you login.
Now they got rid of the section showing members online for the sake of my eyes. But I'm afraid this will make less visitors coming reading the crazy stuff I post. The admin doesn't give damn as after all it's just a waste of money to open such a forum.. especially all other forums we are running are damn dead for a while.

Why IP banning is useless by Adam Kalsey

Many proposals for eliminating comment spam are focused on banning or throttling comments from the IP address of the spammer. This is fundamentally flawed because it assumes IP addresses are both unique and hard to come by.

Banning an IP address can have severe consequences. Many ISPs (including AOL) and companies use a proxy server that makes it appear as if all users are coming from a single (or a handful) if IP addresses. By blocking an IP address, you might be preventing a substantial portion of AOL users from commenting. Depending on your point of view, eliminating AOL may not be a great loss; however the same thing would happen to millions of users behind other proxy servers.

The other problem is that IP addresses are very easy to get or fake for spammers who care about such things. There are hundreds of thousands of open proxies that will let anyone direct Web traffic through them. When I’m using an open proxy, my IP address is effectively masked. And I can use simple software to switch to a different open proxy (and thus a different IP address) every few minutes. So my spamming activity isn’t tied to a specific IP address.

Hypothetically speaking, if the problem of open proxies were to disappear overnight, there are two other mechanisms that provide a limitless set of IP addresses to spammers: dialup and spoofing.

Most dialup ISPs provide a different IP address each time you dial in. If a spammer were to find that their IP address had been banned, they could simply disconnect and redial. It would be trivial to automate the process of dialing in, spamming, disconnecting, and dialing back in.

IP addresses are easy to fake as well. The design principles of TCP/IP allows the sender of a packet to specify its IP address. The message will still be routed to its destination using the fake origin address. Return packets would be mis-routed, however, because TCP/IP would send responses to the true location of the IP address rather than where it actually came from. This means that IP spoofing is ineffective in situations where you need to interact with a remote server, but very effective in a one-way conversation. I can’t retrieve a Web page using a spoofed IP address because I need to make the request and then have the server send me the page. But I can send requests all day long if I don’t care about the response.

Posting a comment (or TrackBack) doesn’t require interaction. I can send a comment in a POST or GET message and not worry about the response if I don’t care about receiving acknowledgment that it was successful.
